TWO HOMES OR HOMELESS - SUNIDHI GARG

In India, when a girl is born into a family, the first thing every person will say is, "ye praya dhan hai", or "ladkiyan to prayi hoti hai." By this saying, a girl will never feel like her own home. After marriage, her in-laws will always say that she is from another family. Of this, she will never feel like her own home here too.


But did anyone will ever say to a girl, "stay here beta, it's your own home only."  Except this, everyone will say, "go to your home," but no one mentions which home actually we have to go to? 


Sometimes, this thing will break you from the inside, but you can't share your feelings with anyone. Sometimes, you will feel like you have two homes but basically, we don't have our own homes never. 


But, nowadays, the time has changed and people's perspective about a girl has also changed. Now, usually, people don't say these things to their girl child and daughter-in-law. 


It depends upon you and your family whether you have two homes or are homeless.

महिला विवाहित हो या अविवाहित...24 हफ्तों से कम का सबको गर्भपात का हक

हालही में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ऐतिहासिक फैसला सुनाया है जिसमें विवाहित महिलाओं के साथ-साथ अविवाहित महिलाओं को भी गर्भधारण के 24 सप्ताह तक गर्भपात का सामान्य हक है। यह फैसला जस्टिस डीवाई चंद्रचूड़ की अध्यक्षता वाली बेंच ने मेडिकल टर्मिनेशन ऑफ प्रेग्नेंसी रूल्स के नियम 3बी को विस्तार देते हुए सुनाया है।  यह फैसला 25 साल की अविवाहित युवती की याचिका पर सुनाया गया है। युवती ने 24 हफ्ते का गर्भ गिराने की मंजूरी मांगी थी। लेकिन दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने इसे खारिज कर दिया था। युवती अपनी याचिका को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुंची। वहां उसने कबूल किया कि उसने अपनी सहमति से संबंध बनाए थे जिससे वह गर्भवती हो गई। लेकिन बाद में उसके पार्टनर ने शादी करने से इंकार कर दिया। इसलिए अब वह गर्भपात करवाना चाहती है।  यह नियम समाज की दकियानूसी धारणा को खत्म करने के लिए बनाया है कि सिर्फ शादीशुदा महिलाएं ही शारीरिक संबंध बना सकती है। दुष्कर्म जैसे मामलों में भी अविवाहित को गर्भपात का हक है। वहीं अगर किसी महिला से उसका पति जबरन संबंध बनाता है और वह प्रेग्नेंट हो जाती है तो उसे भी गर्भपात का हक है।

महिलाओं के लिए ख़ास त्योहार - करवा चौथ

करवा चौथ को केवल एक व्रत के रूप में ही नहीं बल्कि त्योहार के रूप में मनाया जाता है। वैसे तो आमतौर पर यह महिलाओं के लिए ख़ास होता है क्योंकि वे अपने पतियों के लिए पूरा दिन भूखे-प्यासे रह कर उनकी लंबी उम्र का वरदान मांगती है। लेकिन आजकल पति भी अपनी पत्नियों की लंबी उम्र के लिए व्रत करने लगे हैं। यही वजह है कि यह महिलाओं के साथ-साथ पुरुषों के लिए काफी खास मौका होता है।  Karwa Chauth इस दिन महिलाएं अच्छे से सज-धज कर तैयार होती है। उस दिन वे सोलह श्रृंगार - मेहंदी, बिंदी, काजल, लिप्स्टिक, आदि लगाकर अपने पति के प्रति प्रेम भाव को दर्शाती है। पति भी अपनी पत्नियों को देखकर चांद के स्वरूप का अहसास होता है। पूरा दिन व्रत रखकर रात को चांद को अर्घ देकर अपने व्रत को पूर्ण करते हैं। व्रत को पूर्ण करते समय पति अपनी पत्नी को जल पिला कर उनके व्रत को खोलते हैं और फिर भोजन ग्रहण करते हैं।
